Who Are We?


Karlito Dance Ltd is Scotland’s leading Dance Agency, supplying the best Choreographers & Dancers for all aspects of the Commercial Industry including Hip Hop Promos, TV, Concerts, Trade/Fashion Shows, Corporate Events & Print.

Karlito Dance is home to top choreographer and capoeirista Karlito Gray, who also works tirelessly within the Community teaching Dance to those of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Operations Director, Lorraine Gray has more than seven years experience of Business Development and Management in commercial and marketing environments and supports Karlito in the successful operation of the business.

Classes and Workshops


Spotlight  is the new home of Karlito Dance Ltd. Located within Clydebank Shopping Centre, our custom designed premises boasts three large studios where all classes and workshops are hosted.

Spotlight offers a range of classes including Streetdance, Breakdance, Hip Hop, Capoeira, Salsa and Zumba. Studio space is also available for Hire to community groups/organisations, and all Dance Schools will be made very welcome.

As well as our wide range of Classes and Workshops, Spotlight also offers Childrens Parties with Group Tuition, Dancing, Music and Food/Drink all included.

 

Events


Karlito Dance Ltd is proud to present Scotland’s Best Dance Crew 2009 at the Kelvin Hall Arena, Glasgow on Friday 31st July 2009.

This event will showcase Scotland's best dance talent in areas of Break Dance, Hip Hop and Street Dance, all competing for a £1000 cash prize! With music from top DJs, guest performances from International dance crews and a Hip Hop Fashion Show, this show will have something for everyone…

The event is supporting Cash 4 Kids and St Margaret's Hospice, two organisations which are close to the hearts of both Karlito Dance Ltd and the Clydebank community.


Our Dancers


For a ground shaking, fast moving dance performance…look no further than our Professional Dance Group Earthquake.

Earthquake is a multicultural Dance Crew which is sure to entertain with a unique blend of Breakdance, Streetdance, Hip Hop and Capoeira.  With lightening fast head spins, gravity defying flips, the latest in Streetdance moves…all with a Brazilian twist of Capoeira…Earthquake’s performances have been and are still the highlight of many International events.


In the Community


Karlito has several years experience of Community Dance, and currently works within Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Community Groups across the country.

The style of dance offered is mainly Hip Hop, Streetdance and Breakdance – these genres have been proven to boost confidence and self-esteem with youths from all backgrounds, and of all sizes. Furthermore, this non-traditional dance style also attracts and supports socially-excluded youths to participate in fitness based activities.
